The Real Meaning of Morality

In response to the federal Government no longer defending 'The Defense of Marriage Act', Jeffery T. Kuhner wrote the article, "Obama's Homosexual America," published in the Washington Times, on February 24, 2011. Kuhner argues the demise of our country and its mores begins with the homosexual rights movement. Kuhner states that equality for our fellow citizens, neighbors, and family members who simply have a different sexual preference than what some consider 'normal' is an "attack on traditional America".

Making Citizenship a Birthright

The Senator from Louisiana and Chairman of the US Senate Border Security and Enforcement, David Vitter, in his February 15th 2011 CNN.COM article, "Close the 'Birthright Citizenship' Loophole," argues that the government should stop giving automatic citizenship status to babies born in the USA to two illegal immigrant parents as they do now. While there may be some validity to his argument, newborns should not be accountable for their parents' shortcomings in the immigration system; therefore they should be permitted citizenship as reflected in the 14th Amendment.

Is Gay Marriage Actually The First Step in Human Extinction?

Gay marriage has always been a controversial topic to talk about because people have different ideas on what is constitutionally correct. After reading a piece in The Washington Times titled, "Obama's Homosexual America: President champions the culture of death" by Jeffery T. Kuhner, I knew a formal rebuttal was in order. The question being addressed is if gay marriage will bring us closer to demise in the human race. If this statement is true should gay marriage be legal or illegal?
